《节俭中国人》由山东广播电视台齐鲁频道全力打造，国内顶尖真人秀制作团队主创十二位性格鲜明、技能独特的民间节俭达人，分成三组，每组用1000元生活经费，挑战30天最节俭生活方式，直面最真实的人性体验。栏目组通过60个摄像机位的全景纪录，和多重节俭任务考验，将角逐出“节俭中国人”总冠军，向观众推介实用“节俭术”，倡导健康低碳生活。
